The Salvation Army’s red shield is one of its most recognisable assets and one that can’t simply be changed. Turn the shape, repeat it, and something else appears: hands held in prayer, wings offering protection, and a new way to express hope and compassion.

Coatex was known for its shampoo, but that was only part of the story. Seen together, the products formed a complete system to soothe, replenish and protect — captured in one simple thought: We’ve got skin and coat covered.
Three churches. One parish.
Three churches were becoming one parish. The Good Shepherd brought the flock; Workington brought fishing and the sea. Wool and fishing nets provided the unexpected connection, creating an identity rooted in scripture, place and community.
